When is the next primary election? May 6, 2014 - Polling sites are open from 6 AM - 6 PM. (top) As election day approaches, please check back for updated information. To find out which candidates and public questions will be on your ballot in the next election, click here and enter your county, first and last name, and date of birth. Or if you know which precinct you are in, you can get your ballot details here. Please note: The candidate information is being updated daily to reflect additional information provided by the counties. If this information appears to be incorrect or incomplete, please contact the Indiana Election Division or your county election board. (top) How do I know if I'm registered to vote? Unsure if you are currently a registered voter in Indiana? Visit www.indianavoters.com or call the Hoosier Voter Hotline at (866) IN-1-VOTE to confirm your status. You can also print out a registration form from www.indianavoters.com and mail it. If you have a current and valid Indiana driver's license or Indiana State identification card, you can register to vote online at https://indianavoters.in.gov/PublicSite/OVR/Introduction.aspx?Link=Polling. In order to be processed for the next election, your voter registraton application must be postmarked or hand delivered to your county voter registration office no later than 29 days before the next election. If your county registration office receives the application after that day, you will be unable to vote in the next election. If you miss this deadline, your registration application will be processed when registration reopens. Some military voters and their family members can register until noon on election day. Contact your county voter registration office for information if you may qualify to do so. (top) Once you have submitted and confirmed your voter registration information, you will need to locate your election polling site. Some precinct boundaries changed in 2012 and precinct maps have been redrawn. Please review the new City and County Precinct maps to determine your precinct.
